04 Do I have to make an appointment?

An appointment booking is necessary for our location in Kärntnerstrasse.At all other locations, booking an appointment is recommended, but not mandatory.

05 How do I get my test certificate?

The test certificate will be sent by email.Alternatively, you can print it out and pick it up at one of our locations.

06 Is the test certificate valid for trips abroad?

Accepted Answer

In principle, all of our certificates are internationally recognized.However, please find out for yourself which regulations apply to the country you wish to enter and what information must be included on the test result.

07 In which languages is the test certificate issued?

The test certificate is issued in German and English.

08 Ist es möglich, das erforderliche Test-Formular für die Einreise nach Japan zu erhalten?

Ja, gerne füllen wir das Formular für Sie aus und senden es Ihnen nach der Testung mit Ihrem Testergebnis zu. Bitte geben Sie dies einfach an der Kassa bei der Registrierung bekannt.

08 Is the evaluation time guaranteed?

Our evaluation times are guide values, which are generally adhered to.  In individual cases, a re-testing of the sample is necessary and in this case the evaluation can be delayed by approx. 1-2 hours.

The evaluation times are as follows:  Kärntnerstrasse & Mariahilferstrasse: 2h Seilergasse: 3 hours Lugner City & SCS: 5h Passage Linz: 7 hours These times are guide values, which are generally adhered to.In individual cases, a re-testing of the sample is necessary and in this case the evaluation can be delayed by approx. 1-2 hours.

10 Do I get the CT value if the test result is positive?

Yes, if the test result is positive, the CT value is given.

11 What happens if I test positive?

Accepted Answer

If the PCR test result is positive, you must go into quarantine immediately.  We report the positive result to the health authorities.

12 Is there a minimum age for children and infants to be tested?

Accepted Answer

In principle, children of any age can be tested with a declaration of consent from their legal guardian.  Of course, there must be a certain level of cooperation on the part of the child in order to be able to carry out the test properly.  If the child does not cooperate, the test cannot be administered.

13 Can I eat or drink anything before the test?

It is recommended not to eat or drink one hour before the test.
